Focus: Finishing up your History, Special Interest, graphs and charts, etc.
- Today, read (carefully) through you special interest and your history and look for errors. Do you have a topic sentence beginning each sentence? Have you checked for all spelling errors?
- In the lower right hand corner of the page, find the PDF version and click it to open your document in printable form. Print one copy of each and turn in to me.
- Update your bibliography
- If you still have time, make sure your graphs and charts are accurate and complete. Once you get an O.K. from me, you can print for your report.

- Open a Word Document. Title your page BIBLIOGRAPHY.
- Think about the type of source before you paste your source into the page. Hint is it a book, internet website or "other".
- Open to the front few pages of your state book.
- Use the Bibliography Maker (click here).
- Use CTL-V to paste. Remember to save in BIBLIOGRAPHIES!
When finished with your bibliography....
- Open a new word document. Title it HISTORY
- Use your notes from First Inhabitants to create a paragraph of information
If there's time left: go to Mathmagician and test your skill with mixed facts!

- Learn about the Voyage of the Mayflower and the First Thanksgiving
- Use the graphic organizer provided to take notes about the journey. You may also check out this First Thanksgiving site to learn more. Typical names for boys and girls in colonial times are listed here.
- You have just completed the journey across the Atlantic Ocean on the Mayflower. Decide who your character will be and write a letter back home to your family in England. Be as detailed as possible about the journey.
- Type your letter in Microsoft Word. Choose the font BlackadderITC . Put up a red cup when you are ready to print. We will be printing on special parchment paper.
