Parent Information

1. Requires a student login and customer number that you can get from participating classroom teachers. 
• School-To-Home Connection Letter (Example) 
2. Lexia Reading must be downloaded and installed on your own home computer.
• Installation Instructions   - your home computer must meet the minimum computer requirements and have internet access (for recording data).
3. No technical support is provided. 
4. Use the program 2-3 times per week for 10-15 minute session per week.   
5. You should check on your student's progress--if you see "yellow dots" above a specific skill bar, your child needs to have the item taught to him or her.

• Listen to the question in the program
• Instruct your child on what the program is asking
• Work through one or two examples
• Let them try it on their own. 

If you teacher provided the above information, he/she may be checking on your student's progress as well.
