Classroom AV Equipment

All classrooms have VCR/DVD systems connected to projectors as well as to a teacher configured PC for grades 1-6.  In Kindergarten classrooms the VCR/DVD systems and teacher computers are connected to a 37" (or 32" in K1) Flat screen TV acting like a large monitor.  Most classrooms have a teacher microphone (pendant or body pack) and some have student microphones (handheld).  All sound runs through the FrontRow equipment.

Training on these systems was done in the Sprint of 2011. Grant Digital Classroom Training.

Funding for this setup was done initially as a pilot by PTA and then two PEF Major Impact Grants.
