Grant Elementary's Summer Reading Flash Mob Success

Congratulations to all of you who participated in the Grant Elementary Promotes Summer Reading Flash Mob.

Grant Elementary promotes reading for all students over the summer no matter what school you attend.  Although our program is available to only active Grant students, you can find other summer reading programs below.

Summer Reading Programs

While we cannot add you to our current reading program due to licensing issues, you can sign up for one or more of the following programs.

1. Sign up at any of the following programs and participate.
• Petaluma Library Summer Reading program
• Sylvan's Bookventure (membership is free; similar to Renaissance Place Accelerated Reader)
• Scholastic Book Challenge - Don't forget to identify your school so the minutes are logged.
2. You can use Grant's suggested Summer Reading log  or one from a program above.
3. Find Books to read at:  Book Lists
4. Record your goal on the top of the log. 
5. Even if your school doesn't have a program where you can turn in your log, show it to next year's teacher.  Maybe you can help promote summer reading at your school next year.
